Ep-1: While In Womb
The soul of the Lord Mahavira, having ascended through various spiritual stages in previous incarnations, finally arrives in the womb of Queen Trishladevi. Trishladevi was the queen of King Siddhartha, ruler of Kshatriyakund city in Lachchhwad, present-day Jharkhand state.
The arrival of this eminent soul triggers 14 auspicious dreams for Queen Trishladevi. In these dreams, she sequentially witnesses an elephant, a bull, a lion, the goddess Laxmidevi, a garland, the moon, the sun, a flag, a pitcher filled with water, Padma Sarovar, the sea, a divine aircraft, a heap of diamonds, and fire without smoke. These dreams were prophetic.
The following day, King Siddhartha summons experts in the interpretation of dreams to discern their significance. Despite being the ruler of the city, he greets these learned men with humility and seeks their insights into the dreams. Based on their expertise, these interpreters reveal that the dreams herald the birth of a great personality destined to influence the entire world. While it is typical for a child to demonstrate significance after birth, this divine personality begins exerting influence even within the womb.
Consequently, King Siddhartha's lineage, known as "Gnyat Kul," experiences unprecedented prosperity in terms of wealth, sustenance, and authority. Witnessing these auspicious developments, the parents resolve to name the child, upon his birth, "Vardhman," signifying "growth."
