In my opinion, the ultimate characteristic of Lord Mahavira's religion is that it has emphasized non-violence more than any other belief in the world. Furthermore, in the ancient history of Jainism, not only has non-violence been taught, but it has also been practiced, with no place for violence. I hope that the followers of Jainism continue to spread non-violence—which is not a symbol of cowardice, but rather a courageous attitude towards peace—throughout the world.
